Reporting directly to Diego Scotti, the EVP and GM of the Consumer Group and Global Marketing & Communications, Seeley will be responsible for steering PayPal’s global marketing strategy.
A seasoned professional in the tech sector, Seeley exudes enthusiasm in contributing to the growth of the company. In Scotti’s words, “We look forward to Geoff’s innovative ideas and industry experience enhancing PayPal’s global marketing.”

Bringing over 25 years of experience in global brand, digital, and performance marketing, Seeley’s appointment promises a bright future for PayPal. Through his previous experience as Global CMO at CashApp and Afterpay, he gained valuable industry knowledge and leadership skills.
At PayPal, Geoff will manage the Global Marketing team and implement strategic plans for PayPal’s brands, including refining the value propositions for PayPal and Venmo to increase comprehensibility, appeal, and user-friendliness.
Geoff is expected to revitalize PayPal and Venmo brands, utilizing the company’s traditional values and his expertise to enhance customer trust. He is focusing on creating secure platforms that protect users’ transactions and personal information, showing PayPal’s commitment to its users’ safety.
