A prominent American ice hockey league collaborates with a top European communications firm, an affiliate of MHP Group, for improved PR in Europe. This partnership is aimed at garnering greater media attention and visibility for the league in several European markets. The collaboration will apply a diverse range of marketing strategies to uplift the league’s brand recognition amongst European fans and streamline interaction with corporate sponsors and stakeholders, bolstering the league’s financial growth.

This joint venture is the result of an extensive evaluation of the league’s public relations standing in Europe by the communications firm. With the main goal of amping up the league’s media visibility, the firm seeks to inflate its European fan base significantly. The project continues with a defined focus on extending PR policies across five key markets in Europe: Germany, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Sweden, and Finland. The intention is to implement routine communication techniques to notably expand media coverage.

Moreover, the firm will back the league’s European events, such as the Global Series in Stockholm and the European Player Tour. It has also been established as the sole PR agency for the league in the UK. Jaka Lednik, the Senior Vice-President of the league’s international section, spoke highly of the partnership, stating that it would generate intrigue and help broaden the league’s worldwide audience.

Additionally, Charlotte Brooks, the firm’s Managing Director, showcased her excitement about the partnership. She highlighted the firm’s keenness to enhance and broaden the hockey fan base. With Brooks’s commitment to revolutionizing hockey perception, she stresses the importance of education programs in public schools and community centers and believes in leveraging digital platforms for attracting younger demographics.

The partnership will also target charitable pursuits, with Brooks acknowledging the firm’s obligations towards their community. She proposes collaborative efforts with local charities, bringing together the sport, its audience, and social causes under the common theme of hockey. Brooks displays ambition and positivity towards this partnership, envisioning a growing and diversified fan base, generating positive impacts within local communities and more.
