The 2024 Awards are now in the books, celebrating excellence in multiple areas from Advertising, Campaign Branding, Collaborations to Editorial, In-House, Photography and more. This ceremony, a platform for both established and emerging talents, showcased breath-taking creativity from around the globe.

The awards also highlighted incredible student efforts, and special recognition went to the top three participants for their outstanding contributions to their respective categories. Their achievements serve as a benchmark and source of inspiration for budding minds.

Georgetown Optician led in Advertising with its “Adventures in A-Eye” campaign, an AI-driven initiative creating a fantasy world of eyewear. This unique campaign featured an AI chatbot named ‘Eyelien’, offering personalised eyewear suggestions, and an interactive ‘Glasses Vision Board’ for consumers.

In the same category, BMW Motorrad came second with their project “Storied: 100 Years of BMW Motorcycling”, a collaboration with The Simple Machine.

Celebrating global creativity at 2024 awards

It featured a centennial book detailing BMW’s journey in motorcycling. Third place was secured by Harley Davidson and their “Harley Adventures: A Century on the Road” campaign.

Student projects from the School of Visual Arts took the top three spots in Advertising with their innovative works; “Literary Mixtape,” “Stuf by Oreo,” and “Verizon”. These submissions set the bar high with their creativity and proficiency.

Guerilla Suit’s SXSW 2024: Global Reframing earned the first place in Branding Campaigns for its fresh and innovative approach to event’s design format. Second place went to East Side Pies for its Guerilla Suit directed rebranding, and third place was claimed by Central Market for its Passport Portugal campaign showcasing Portugal’s unique culinary tradition.

This year’s awards shine a light on the immense creativity, ingenuity and growth within the Advertising and Branding Campaigns sectors, despite the challenges faced by the industry. It was a notable year witnessing innovative campaigns that pushed creativity boundaries and set the course for the continuous evolution of this field.
